It is an improved method of manual lamination. This method is the simplest of closed technologies. On the layered and saturated reinforcement, as in manual lamination, airproof foil is laid and sealed. By attaching a vacuum pump, negative pressure – vacuum is created in the sealed foil. Thanks to this process, the layers of reinforcements are compressed, excess resin and undesirable air bubbles are removed by suction from the individual layers. Depending on the design of a composite part, individual layers of reinforcements may be interlaid with sandwich materials to improve the firmness and weight properties of the composite.
